About the conference
There is an increased attention
being paid to water and waste water technologies. Considering; the increase in
water resource scarcity, the increase in demand for clean and efficient water
production, and the sustainable development goals (SDGs) era where clean water
and sanitation is given a high priority in the global agenda for 2030, it
becomes vital to maintain cooperation and partnership in order to enhance and
develop new technologies and strategies to achieve better water sustainability
programs in this semi-arid region of Libya.
The Preparatory and
Scientific Committees of the First Libyan International Water
Conference, under the slogan "Sustainability - Legislation -
Techniques and Economics", together with the Assembly of
Libyan Academics and Experts (ALAE), have the pleasure to invite
all researchers and specialists, from universities, higher
institutes, research centers nationally and internationally, to
attend/participate in the conference, which will be held in
April 24-26, 2018. The ALAE brings together experts,
consultants, water technology professionals, and equipment
manufacturers, to discuss the state of the art in the field of
water quality and waste-water technologies.
